Ingredients

  • flour - 2 1/2 cups
  • yeast - 1 cube (1.5 oz (42 g))
  • eggs - 2
  • milk - 1 cup
  • salt - 1 - 2 pinches
  • sugar - 1 tsp

How to make

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk with a little warm water and mix it with the sugar. Leave it in a warm place for 15 minutes. Sift the flour and salt, add the eggs and begin stirring.

Once the flour absorbs the eggs, pour in the milk with the yeast. You will end up with a not-so-dense dough, leave it to rise in a warm place, covered with plastic wrap.

Then heat up a clay dish and grease it. Put in part of the dough and shape a pita. Bake until you see a nice tan on both sides.
