How to make

Mix the yeast with the milk, salt, sugar and melted butter, add 1 tablespoon of flour and leave it for 10 minutes to bubble in a warm place. Then add the remaining flour, knead a soft dough and leave it to rise for 30 minutes.

Peel the pumpkin, cut it into small pieces and then boil it for 5 minutes in hot salted water. Cut the onion and bacon very finely and fry in a little oil, add the pumpkin drained of the water and fry. Add the cream, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to taste. Remove from the heat.

In a greased tray, roll out the dough along the bottom and sides, so as to obtain a dough form in which you will then pour in the pumpkin mixture. Once spread out, pour on the pumpkin mixture on top of the dough and sprinkle it with grated cheese.

Bake at 390°F (200 °C) for around 40 min.
