How to make
The milk and water are poured into a bowl. They are heated in the microwave. Add yeast and sugar. Dissolve it and let it activate.
Sift the flour into a baking pan. A well is being made. Add the salt and oil. Add the activated yeast and knead the dough, by gradually adding the flour.
A soft and non-sticky dough is kneaded for our fluffy Pide. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a towel. Let it double in volume.
When it rises, put it on a floured surface. Form a ball and roll it out into a round shape. Prepare a greased non-stick baking pan.
The dough is transferred into the baking pan. A concave border is formed with the handle of a utensil and it must be well indented.
In the same way, lines are made so that many small squares are formed like a grid. Let it rise.
In a bowl, beat the yolk with 2 tbsp. milk and a little oil.
The finished flatbread is spread with the beaten mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and linseed.
Bake until done.
The soft Pide flatbread is ready to eat.
