How to make
Dissolve the gelatin in cold water - 2 tbsp.
After the gelatin swells, heat it briefly in the microwave to dissolve it without boiling. Leave it to cool down.
Sift the powdered sugar very well.
Pour half of the powdered sugar into a bowl.
Add the gelatin, glycerin and glucose.
Mix and add the rest of the powdered sugar in parts.
Mix everything until a smooth fondant is obtained.
If desired, divide it into several balls and color them with the desired colors, by adding different confectionery paints to each ball.
The homemade sugar fondant is very successful.
For long term use it should be stored in cling film in the fridge.
From the prepared fondant you can make various edible flowers, ribbons, butterflies and you can also use it to cover cakes.
