"This lemon sponge cake turns out so aromatic and juicy - it is wonderful"

Ingredients

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/4 cup
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
  • lime juice - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • lemon sugar - 1 tbsp
  • milk - 1 cup
  • flour - 2 cups with leavening agent /for sponge cake/

How to make

In a bowl, beat the oil and sugar with a mixer for 1-2 minutes. Add the eggs and salt and continue to beat.

Pour 1 cup of flour and milk. Beat for 1 minute and add the remaining flour, lemon juice, lime juice and lemon sugar.

Beat until homogenized.

Pour the mixture into a rectangular Teflon sponge cake mold.

Bake in an oven heated to 300°F (150°C) for about 40 minutes.

Leave the baked sponge cake to harden for 2-3 hours and preferably until the next day. Cut it into pieces and serve it.
