Sometimes the best recipes are born by chance.
And that's what happened with this one and since then this fruit cream has become one of my favorite desserts.
I was going to make a breakfast smoothie, but I didn't have any more milk and it turned out not only thick, but incredibly fluffy and creamy - a true magic of texture and taste. The perfect quick dessert for any occasion.
To prepare this dessert cream, peel and clean the fresh fruit. Cut them into pieces and put them in the jug of a blender. Add the frozen blueberries, milk, strained yogurt and sugar (or another sweetener for a healthier version of the cream).
Turn on the appliance at maximum speed for 1 minute. Yes, the ingredients will grind much faster, but it's the longer grinding and blending that creates this amazing fluffy texture, which is even airier than the texture of fruit mousse.
Divide the fruit cream into dessert bowls and serve it immediately.
I haven't needed to put it in the fridge to serve it at a later stage, maybe there is no problem with that, but I still prefer to serve it right away so that the flavors and colors are fresh.
When kept in the refrigerator, it is very possible that the cream will darken slightly.
Decorate the fluffy avocado fruit cream with banana slices and blanched almonds.
