How to make
The onion is cut into small pieces and fried in heated fat. When it softens, add the crushed garlic cloves and a little later the minced meat.
Stir until the minced meat turns white and becomes crumbly.
Add the chopped tomato and tomato puree.
The sauce is seasoned with salt, black pepper, basil and oregano. Cook for another five minutes and remove it from heat.
The white sauce is prepared by frying the flour in the heated butter with olive oil in a pot.
Fry for about a minute, add milk, salt, nutmeg and black pepper. The sauce is cooked on a low heat until it thickens.
Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water. Boil for about seven minutes, strain and transfer into a greased tray.
The fried minced meat is added to them and everything is covered with the white sauce. Sprinkle the macaroni with minced meat with grated yellow cheese on top.
Bake the tastiest baked macaroni with minced meatin the oven at 360°F (180°C) for half an hour.
