"Here is the perfect breakfast - puff pastries with custard! Don`t you agree?"

Ingredients

  • sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • fresh puff pastry
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • cream
  • flour - 7 tbsp.
  • milk - 4 cups (1 liter)
  • sugar - 7 tbsp.
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • essence - 1 tsp. vanilla
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling
measures

How to make

Cut the fresh puff pastry into rectangles.

With the help of a mold, outline a figure in each resulting rectangle, but without removing the cut dough.

Spread the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.

Heat the oven to 430°F (220°C) until the puff pastries are ready.

Meanwhile, prepare the dairy cream. Pour 800 ml of the milk and sugar into a pot.

Heat the milk until the sugar melts and remove it from the heat.

Beat the four eggs very well, add the flour and the remaining milk to them. Mix well. While stirring constantly, pour the warm milk and place it back onto the heat.

Cook over low heat until it has thickened, by stirring constantly.

Add the butter to the finished cream and stir until melted. Wait for it to cool.

Carefully separate the outlined lids and fill the hollow part. Place the lids on and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

The Puff Pastries with Custard are ready.
