How to make
Sift the flour, mix it with the bran and salt and make a well in the middle.
Pour the water into it, which has been slightly warmed and mix the sugar and crushed yeast into it. Let it activate for 10 minutes.
Knead a smooth and elastic dough, by adding flour if necessary, until it stops sticking to you. But leave the bread dough softer and hydrated to make the bread fluffy and soft.
Shape it into an oblong loaf and place it on a tray lined with baking paper or lightly greased tray. Since the dough is softer, you can also grease your hands for shaping. It is also best that the tray is oblong, so that the bread has a limit and does not spread out too much and become flat during the rising.
Make 2-3 longitudinal slits, sprinkle with flour and let the prepared rustic bread rise for 30-40 minutes.
Bake at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until a slightly golden crust is obtained.
Remove the finished Retro Bread with Wheat Bran from the mold and leave it to cool on a wire rack.
