How to make
Mix the whole wheat and rye flour with 2-3 cups of the white flour. Mix the water with the oil, salt, sugar, yeast and baking powder until effervescent. Make a well in the flour and pour in the yeast mixture.
Knead a soft dough gradually, and if necessary, add more flour. Divide the dough into 4 pieces and let them rise for half an hour until doubled in size. Distribute the pieces in greased oblong forms, or make a single oval bread in a round tray, but not too big.
Sprinkle the bread with the oats. Bake each bread for about 20 minutes in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven until it takes on a nice tan.
If necessary, check for readiness with a toothpick.
