How to make

To make the New Year's table more beautiful, I suggest the following way to serve different aromatic cheeses. You can replace those indicated in the recipe with others, as well as add more according to your taste.

Only the manchego cheese, which we will make a Christmas tree with, is mandatory, but for this purpose it should not be of the mature kind, but semi-hard, because otherwise the pieces would break.

The portions in the recipe are 4, but there will be more people, of course, increase the quantities. First, prepare the Christmas tree and for this purpose we get a wooden stick.

At its base, string a piece of cheese to hold it upright and shape the remaining manchego cheese into triangles - a few larger, a few medium in size and finally smaller ones.

String the larger ones in the base and finish off gradually with the others. String on the smallest ones to get a beautiful Christmas tree. On its branches, scatter jamon in pieces and chopped chives and cut a star from the red pepper and place it on top.

Cut the remaining cheeses into random pieces and arrange them carelessly around the Christmas tree. Garnish with more red pepper and chives.

Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds and serve with jam of your choice.

Tip: Do not serve cheeses directly from the refrigerator, but let them sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes to release their aroma.

Enjoy and happy holiday!
