How to make

This Czech kolache with strawberries will become your favorite.

Today I suggest you prepare a Czech kolache pastry.

There are different fillings for these kolaches, with blueberries, strawberries, poppy seeds, cottage cheese, prunes. It can be made with both fresh and frozen fruit. I recommend it, it is very easy and very tasty!

Prepare the butter crumbs by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl and kneading with your hands until crumbs form.

The base products are mixed into a homogeneous mixture in the sequence indicated.

Pour the base mixture into a buttered and floured mold, which is larger in size.

Put the fruits on top and spread the butter crumbs on them.

Bake the strawberry cake in a preheated oven at 430°F (220°C) for 10 minutes, then another 30-35 minutes at 370°F (190°C), until a nice golden brown color is obtained.

After the fruit cake is ready, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar for extra sweetness if desired.

If you like crumbles and fruit pies, you'll love this gem from the Czech cuisine.
