Ingredients

  • ground wild boar - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • ground pork - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • salt
  • black pepper - to taste
  • savory herb - to taste
  • mixed herbs and salt - optional
  • sparkling water - 2/3 cup (150 ml)

How to make

Mix the two types of ground meat in a deep bowl.

Clean and grate the onion on a coarse grater and add it to the bowl.

Press the garlic clove and also add it to the onion. Add spices to taste.

Add the sparkling water to the mixture. Mix all the ingredients well.

With wet hands, shape the game meatballs. Put them in the fridge for about an hour. This way they will firm up slightly and absorb the spices well.
