Ingredients

  • Roquefort pâté
  • roquefort cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cream cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • sour cream - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • walnuts - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • figs - 5 pcs. from jam or fresh
  • Mini pancakes
  • milk - 6.1 fl oz (180 ml)
  • flour - 4.2 oz (120 g)
  • oil - 1 2/3 tbsp (25 g) + for greasing the pan
  • yolk - 1 pc. from a large egg
  • sugar - 0.5 oz (15 g)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • Fish bites
  • spring onions - 4 pcs. only the white part of the stalks
  • crab sticks - 9 oz (250 g)
  • vinegar - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml)
  • bonito - 5.6 oz (160 g) from a tin
  • mayonnaise - 7 oz (200 g)
  • eggs - 2 pcs. hard boiled
  • water - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • crackers or toast

How to make

The Gourmet Appetizer is made from two parts, but can be supplemented with other components.

Start off by making the blue cheese pâté by mixing the crushed walnuts, Roquefort, cream, cream cheese and a pinch of black pepper in a bowl.

Everything is mixed and kneaded very well to achieve a smooth mixture.

Fill it in a piping bag and put it in the fridge to harden.

Fluffy mini pancakes are made for the pate.

The products for them are beaten until smooth and the mixture is filled into a piping bag.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and coat with oil.

From the thin opening of the piping bag, pour the mixture into a circle and fill it again with circular movements.

The pancakes are baked for a minute on each side or until golden brown.

Each of them (already cooled) is spread with pate and pieces of figs are placed on top.

The beautiful and delicious savory bites are arranged in platters.

To please every glutton, another type of bites is made. They are very easy and delicious.

The spring onions are coarsely chopped and put in the water with the vinegar for 2 hours (it is good to leave it before you have started with the first part of the festive appetizer).

When marinated, the spring onions are strained perfectly and chopped finer.

The crab sticks and eggs are grinded or coarsely grated.

Add the mayonnaise, spring onions and the strained fish from the tin - crumbled.

Everything is mixed very well.

This mixture is piled on small slices of toast or crackers.

They are decorated with olives and even with a spring onions.

These bites are arranged next to the others in the platter.

According to the imagination and taste, other things can be added to these appetizers and they are served with good wine.
