  • flax flour - 1/4 cup
  • buckwheat flour - 1/4 cup or from chickpeas
  • nutritional yeast - 4 tbsp.
  • oregano - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • water - 1 cup

How to make

I made this aromatic homemade vegan cheese very quickly and easily. Without nuts and fat. Here's how!

First, I put the dry ingredients in a bowl, buckwheat flour, flax flour, salt, oregano, and nutritional yeast.

I added half the water to them. I mixed it into a thick paste.

I heated the other half of the water in a pan with a non-stick coating and when it started to boil, I added the mixture while stirring continuously.

I stirred vigorously until the mixture came off the pan. It is made quickly, it gathers into a ball.

I greased a bowl, or a container with a little oil, then poured our vegan cheese inside and leveled it out on top with a wet hand, be careful - it is hot.

Once it's completely cooled, I take it out of the bowl and it's ready to eat.

It tastes like oregano and nutritional yeast.

It is close to the taste of tofu in my opinion.

Note! You can only use chickpea flour instead of buckwheat and flax! And in my opinion, it seems a very good idea to use a teaspoon of turmeric for a pleasant color. I will try next time.
