How to make
The spelt flour is poured into a separate bowl, into which the baking powder and lemon sugar are added and then are mixed very well.
Beat the eggs, until a frothy mixture is obtained.
Gradually add the brown sugar, while continuously stirring with a mixer. Then add the milk and flour.
Mix, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, which should be thin.
Grease the non-stick baking pan with 1 tbsp. of butter.
The plums are washed, pitted and coarsely chopped.
Add half of the plums to the mixture, then mix very well.
The mixture is poured into the baking pan. Arrange the remaining plums on top.
Then arrange the butter (cut into pieces) and sprinkle with 2 tbsp. of brown sugar.
Bake in a preheated oven for 55 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
The fruit cake is served sprinkled with powdered sugar.
The spelt plum cake is ready.
