Unique linzer cookies that will become your favorite.
Beat the butter with the powdered sugar, until a white mixture is obtained, add the yolks one by one, the essence and the sifted flour.
Knead a soft dough and store it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour in a plastic bag.
Roll out the crust into about 0.2″ (0.5 cm), cut out the cookies with cookie cutters and bake them at 360°F (180°C) for 10-15 minutes. They should remain white, they should not turn brown, stick the linzers with strawberry jam and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
P.S. Colored linzers can also be prepared by adding gel paint to the mixture.
