Ingredients

  • butter - 7 oz (200 g)
  • egg yolks - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • baileys - 1 cap
  • lemon peel
  • flour - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • hazelnut flour - 1.8 oz (50 g)

  • raspberry marmalade
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead the dough. Wrap it in cling film and leave it in the fridge for half an hour.

Remove the dough and roll it out into a round crust with a thickness of 0.2″ (0.5 cm). Cut the dough with the help of cookie cutters and put them in the oven tray, which you have previously lined with baking paper.

Make identical pairs of cookies, by making a small hole in the middle of one of them.

Bake the Christmas cookies in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C), until done.

Remove the linzer cookies and leave them to cool.

Stick together the Linzer Cookies with Baileys with marmalade and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
