Ingredients

  • barley flour - 2 tbsp.
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • salt - a pinch
  • butter - as much as a walnut

How to make

Heat the milk. Melt the butter in it. Add as much salt as you like.

Pour the milk into the flour in a thin stream and stir vigorously, so that it does not form lumps.

Place it back on to the heat. Leave it on low heat, until it thickens.

If the child is a little older, you can also add white cheese, but that's optional.
