How to make
Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Add the pressed garlic, the finely chopped onion and the peppers cut into short strips.
They are stewed, until they aquire a golden color. Stir periodically and add the tomato puree, salt and hot red pepper.
Reduce to low heat and leave the sauce to thicken. A pinch of sugar may be added.
Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water according to the instructions on the package.
When ready, add them to the sauce in the pan.
Stir the Arrabbiata Pasta and leave it on low heat for a few more minutes.
Season the Spicy Arrabbiata Pasta with 1 tsp. chili and a few pinches of dry basil.
