How to make
Beat the eggs with the sugar and add the sour cream and oil without stopping to beat, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Mash the two well-ripened bananas and mix them with two spoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice and the soda.
Add them to the egg mixture and mix with a wire whisk, not a mixer.
Then add the flour again, by beating with the whisk, until it is completely absorbed.
Finally, add the walnuts - 2 spoons finely ground + about 2.8 oz (80 g) coarsely chopped.
Mix and transfer into a greased and floured rectangular cake tin or sandwich bread tin.
Bake for about 40 minutes at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven.
Leave it to cool slightly and turn the sweet bread over onto a wire rack.
Once the banana bread has cooled completely, slice and serve it with sour cream and caramel topping.
