How to make

Clean the onion and cut it into thin crescents.

Heat a non-stick pan over a medium heat on the stove and fry the bacon strips.

Remove the bacon from the pan. If there is very little fat from the bacon, pour a little oil into the pan.

Place the onion in the pan. Season with salt and mix. Reduce the heat on the stove and cook the onion, until it has caramelized and aquires a golden color (about 15 minutes). Remove and place it onto kitchen paper.

In a pan on the stove, heat 1 tbsp. of butter. Add the sweet corn kernels, sugar and season with salt. Fry, until the corn caramelizes in the oil, by stirring periodically for about 15-20 minutes.

Heat a grill pan. Sear the sausages in the pan. Spread the sausages lightly with the hot sauce.

Meanwhile, cut the hotdog buns and spread them with a thin layer of butter. Toast them on the buttered side on the grill pan.

How to put them together: Spread the hotdog buns with a thin layer of mayonnaise and mustard. Place the sausages in them and spread the caramelized onions on top. Add chopped small pieces of bacon and sprinkle with corn on top.

The Brooklyn Hotdog with Corn is ready.
