How to make
I washed and cleaned the stems from the figs.
I put the water and sugar in a pot.
Once the syrup thickened, I added the figs. I boiled them for 15 minutes.
I left them overnight.
Then I put them back on for 15 minutes, so that the fig jam can boil on very low heat.
I added a teaspoon of citric acid.
I filled jars with the village-style fig jam and sterilized them for 5 minutes.
