How to make
I make the dough by putting all the products in a food processor and there I knead a nice and elastic dough - for about 10 minutes.
Then I cover the dough in a bowl and leave it to rise in a warm place for about an hour.
When it is ready, I knead it lightly with flour. I roll out it into a crust, which is about 0.4″ (1 cm) thick. Cut out circles with a mold.
In the middle of each circle with cut out circles with a smaller mold or cup.
Arrange the resulting circles and balls in a lightly floured tray.
When they are ready, I cover them with a towel and wait for them to rise slightly for another 30 minutes.
Then I fry them on both sides in a saucepan with at least a finger or two of oil.
I put 3 pieces in the saucepan, because they puff up when fried.
After that, I also fry the small balls - in two batches.
I roll them in fine the crystal sugar, while they're warm.
But you can melt chocolate with a little butter and dip the donuts in it.
Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles or other similar decoration on top.
