How to make
Pour the washed beans into a pot, add water to cover them. When the water boils, I add a teaspoon of baking soda (to release the harmful gases, which harm sick stomachs).
I let it boil for 5 minutes and a thick white foam forms. The beans are transferred into another pot after straining the first water in which they were boiled.
Add warm water and season with the listed spices.
Fry the coarsely chopped onion and garlic in a saucepan. When it softens, add paprika, fry briefly and add it to the beans.
When the bean soup is almost ready, tomato puree or juice and finely chopped dried spearmint are added.
The vegan bean soup is ready.
