Ingredients

  • white beans - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • celery - 1 stalk
  • ground tomatoes - 7 oz (200 g)
  • olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • salt
  • rosemary - 1 sprig
  • sage - 3 - 4 tbsp.

How to make

Soak the beans for 12 hours in cold water.

After the time has passed, wash it, put it in a deep enough pot, cover it with water and boil it.

Discard the water, pour the beans back into the pot and pour about 1 liter of water.

Put it on the stove when the water boils, add the finely chopped onions, carrots and celery.

Add salt and boil the soup, until the beans are fully cooked.

Pour olive oil into a pan. Add the chopped tomatoes and fry them for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle them with paprika.

Pour the tomatoes into the bean soup.

Leave it to boil for another 5 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and sprinkle it with finely chopped rosemary and sage.
