How to make
Soak the slice of bread in the milk for about 10 minutes. Grate the onion on a coarse grater and the carrot on a fine grater.
In a deep bowl, mix the minced meat, vegetables, crack one egg, squeeze the slice of bread and add it to the minced meat.
Season with salt, parsley and black pepper. Finally, add the oil. Mix all this well and divide the mixture into 7 equal parts.
Shape each into a nest, arrange them in a suitable tray, crack an egg into each nest and sprinkle with salt and black pepper, if desired.
The nests are baked in an oven heated to 360°F (180°C).
