How to make
In a bowl, mix the oil, soy sauce, black pepper, paprika, dried thyme and lovage and add the flour at the end. Everything is mixed well, until a homogeneous paste is obtained. If necessary, add a little more fat.
The potatoes and carrots are peeled, cut into large pieces and placed at the bottom of a clay guvec.
The lamb chops are sprinkled with salt and then coated on all sides with the prepared paste.
The seasoned meat is placed on top of the potatoes and carrots. If there is any left over from the paste, it is poured on top of the meat. A sprig of thyme is placed on top.
Add one tea cup of water and place the guvec (clay pot) in a non preheated oven.
Bake the guvec at 430°F (220°C) for about half an hour, then reduce the heat to 360°F (180°C).
The lamb chops in a guvec are very tasty.
