Ingredients

  • white beans - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • green peppers - 1 pc.
  • red peppers - 1 pc.
  • zucchini - 1 pc.
  • sterilized mushrooms - 1 jar
  • flour - 2 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • black pepper - by taste
  • salt - by taste
  • fenugreek - 2 sprigs

How to make

Boil the cleaned and washed beans without any additives.

In a baking pan, heat the oil and fry the finely chopped onion and the carrots (finely diced).

Add the diced peppers, strained mushrooms and diced zucchini. Fry, until they remain in fat.

Add the flour and fry for 2 minutes, add the paprika, stir and immediately remove from the heat.

Add the strained beans to the fried vegetable and add some of the broth, until it is covered.

Add as muchsalt and black pepper as you like, add the fenugreek sprigs and place the baking pan in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) and bake, until the dish is lightly browned.

Before serving, remove the fenugreek sprigs. A very tasty baked bean dish, which I highly recommend both as a main course and as a side dish.
