measures

How to make

First, cut the pumpkin into cubes and boil it with a little sugar (about 1 or 2 tbsp.) for about 15 minutes.

Peel the apples and cut them into small slices and also boil them with a little sugar, for about 10-15 minutes. Prepare a butter pastry dough with the flour and soft butter, by mixing and rubbing the flour and butter with your fingers or a mixer.

Knead with your fingers or use a food processor. A very fine and grainy texture, which resembles sand should be obtained, hence its name.

Then add the eggs and mix, until a homogeneous dough is obtained (again with the wooden spoon or the robot). Form a ball from this dough.

Wrap the butter pastry dough in cling film to prevent a crust from forming and refrigerate it for at least an hour, or immediately spread it out into the mold and then leave the mold for 15-20 minutes in the fridge.

Take out the dough, so that it can soften, roll it out and shape it in the pie mold. Make sure it's a larger diameter, so that the autumn pie has a border.

Mix the apples and pumpkin together and spread them over the dough. You can make strips from the remaining dough.

Bake the pumpkin pie at 360°F (180°C) for 25 minutes.

If you have a small oven, bake the pumpkin pie at 390°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.

Enjoy this delicious Autumn Pumpkin and Apple Pie!
