How to make
Add the softened at room temperature butter in a bowl, add the sugar and beat with a mixer into a smooth cream.
Add the eggs one by one, still beating with the mixer, until a homogenous mixture is obtained. Pour the yogurt.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon. Add the dry mixture in portions to the liquid one.
Add the pitted and halved cherries.
Pour the mixture into paper muffin cups and place them in a muffin tin.
Bake the fruit muffins at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
Check them with a wooden skewer to see if they are fully baked.
Cool the baked muffins on a wire rack and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
