How to make
Dissolve the yeast in the milk and add a spoonful of the sugar.
Leave it to activate briefly. Add the remaining sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla to this mixture.
Sift the flour, make a well and sprinkle the salt on the side. Pour the mixture into the well and knead a soft dough. Cover it with a towel and leave it to rise for 20 minutes.
Roll out the dough into a crust and cut circles, by using a glass.
Using a plastic bottle cap or a smaller cup, cut a hole in the middle of each circle.
Leave the donuts to rise for 15 minutes. Fry the donuts in oil on both sides.
Sprinkle the classic donuts with powdered sugar.
