"Not just an orange temptation, but a real work of art"

Ingredients

  • oranges - 4 pcs.
  • liquid cream - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • sugar - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • white chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • gelatin - 3 sheets (about 3 g)
measures

How to make

Soak the gelatin in water. Squeeze the juice from two oranges into a bowl.

Cut the other two oranges in half and using a knife and spoon, carve them out. You will use them for bowls, so level out the bottom, so that they don't wobble.

Heat the orange juice, squeeze the gelatin and add it. Stir, until it has dissolved. Heat 50 ml of the cream and melt the chocolate in it.

In another bowl, beat the remaining cream, by gradually adding the sugar. Add the cooled chocolate, orange juice to the whipped cream and mix with a spatula.

Fill the two carved out oranges with this mousse. Refrigerate it, until it sets. I had leftover cream and added some of the carved oranges to it. I mixed and poured into crème caramel cups.

As soon as the mousse sets, run a knife between it and the sides and turn it over onto a plate.

You can grate orange peel and put mint leaves on top.

The orange mousse is ready.
