How to make
Put the dry yeast in a deep bowl. Add the sugar, salt and water and mix well. Add the oil.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it to the mixture in small portions. First, mix with a fork and then we knead a soft and elastic dough.
Remove it from the bowl and place it onto a floured surface and knead again with your hands, until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
If necessary, add more flour.
The finished kneaded dough is placed in a pot, a bowl covered with a plate or a plastic bag. Put the dough in the refrigerator and leave it for a day.
This dough can be refrigerated for at least 1 week.
The dough is used to make bread, mekitsi, pizza crust and sweets.
