How to make
The plums are washed, pitted and cut into pieces.
Put them in a large bowl and sprinkle the sugar on top. Arrange row of plums, a row of sugar and leave them like that for about 12 hours. Or prepare them in the evening and boil them in the morning.
Put them to boil over low heat, by occasionally removing the foam that forms with the help of a slotted spoon. Add geranium leaves to add flavor and after some time remove them.
Before the plum jam is ready, add the citric acid to it.
Wait for it to cool and pour it into dry jars.
Sterilize the jam for 10 minutes, to seal the lids.
The plum jam is perfect for desserts and it can be added to various sponge cakes with jam, pancakes, etc.
