How to make
Constipation in babies and young children is a common problem, which can be caused by a variety of reasons.
Whether it is a one-off, chronic or long-term problem, parents can manage this problem with natural herbal remedies, especially when it comes to the youngest members of the family, children under 2 years old and babies.
The mildest laxative with a proven and confirmed effect recommended for this purpose is rose tea (Rosa danascena mill).
It is desirable to prepare it in small quantities for the day, by boiling the rose petals or buds in 100 ml of water for 5 minutes, then leave it to infuse for another 5 minutes.
For babies and children up to 2 years old, the dose is 1-2 tsp. of laxative tea in a bottle with a teat (10-15 ml) two or three times a day, until the desired effect is obtained.
For children over 2 years old, 20 to 40 ml are given, again up to three times a day, until the desired effect is achieved.
If this remedy does not help, be sure to contact your pediatrician.
