Ingredients

  • milk - 3 1/3 cups (800 ml)
  • egg yolks - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 4.2 oz (120 g)
  • corn starch - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • butter - 1 lump
  • vanilla powder - 2 pcs (0.2 g each)

How to make

Put the milk in the saucepan and set aside 2/5 cup (100 ml) of it.

Add the sugar and vanilla. Wait, until it boils and the sugar melts.

Put the yolks and starch in the milk, which you set aside. Beat with a wire whisk, by making sure not to leave any lumps.

To the boiled milk, add the yolks in a thin stream, without stopping to stir.

Reduce heat and boil, until desired thickness is obtained.

One minute before turning it off, add the butter.

Stir to melt it and remove it from heat.

Distribute the homemade pudding into suitable bowls.

Cover each bowl of custard with a small piece of cling film, which touches the surface of the custard well and leave them to cool.

When serving the homemade custard with egg yolks and butter, you can sprinkle it with brown sugar and melt it with a burner.
