Ingredients

  • flour - 7 oz (200 g)
  • ground walnuts - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • sugar - 7 oz (200 g)
  • milk - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • vanilla powder - 1 pc (0.2 g) or vanilla sugar
  • oil - 1 tbsp.

  • dark chocolate - 7 oz (200 g)
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • cream - 1/2 cup
  • coconut flakes

How to make

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and beat with a mixer into a thick cream.

Sift the flour with the baking powder and vanilla. Add it in portions to the egg cream.

Melt the butter and pour it along with 1 tbsp. of sunflower oil in the mixture.

Add the ground walnuts and milk. Homogenize the mixture.

Grease and flour a large heart shaped mold. Pour the prepared mixture for your unique walnut cake.

Line and bake the Valentine's Day Cake at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven with a fan. Check it with a wooden skewer to see if it is fully baked.

Cool the finished aromatic cake onto a wire rack.

Break the chocolate, add the cream and the butter. Put the container in a water bath and stir, until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.

Pour the glaze over the cooled cake and sprinkle it with coconut flakes!
