How to make
Season the chicken steaks with salt and ground pepper. Cut the sausage lengthwise into 4 pieces. Place a quarter of a sausage on each steak and roll them up. Secure them with a toothpick.
Clean the walnuts, grind them into bulky pieces in a blender. Mix the ground walnuts with the flour and a pinch of salt. Beat the egg with a wire whisk.
Roll each roll in the ground walnuts, then in the beaten egg and again in the walnut breading. Fry the rolls in heated oil. Take them out and place them onto kitchen paper, to absorb the excess fat. You can serve them with a potato or green salad, or any other to your taste.
I chose to make them a sauce, that I often make with chicken steaks. Put the gorgonzola in a pan, pour the milk and the mushrooms, which have previously been stewed in a little butter.
Stir the sauce, until it thickens. When serving, add 1-2 tbsp. of the sauce on a plate, place the sliced rolls on top and pour the remaining sauce over them.
