How to make

In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, yogurt, grated peel of one lemon and melted butter together.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually add it to the mixture, by continuing to beat.

Finally, add the milk and beat, until a smooth mixture is obtained.

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 340°F (170°C) for about 60 minutes or until it is fully baked. If necessary, cover it with foil during baking.

Leave the finished cake for 10 minutes in a switched off and open oven.

Take it out and once it has cooled, turn it over completely. Spread it with a jam of your choice.

Note: The cake can be eaten sprinkled with powdered sugar, spread with honey or it can be without any additives!

The Spanish Quesada Cake is great.
