I present you an interesting recipe for minced meat cake and delicious sauce with bolete mushrooms and dark beer.
I personally drink dark beer all year round and last time I decided to include it in the preparation for dinner. The interesting slightly bitter and at the same time caramel nuances of the dark beer perfectly harmonize with the taste of the bolete mushrooms and the fresh and light minced meat dish.
Knead the minced meat along with one of the eggs, chopped spring onions, capers and some finely chopped parsley. Season with salt, savory herb and black pepper.
Boil and peel the remaining 4 eggs. Cover the rectangular cake tin with baking paper.
Pour half of the minced meat mixture, arrange the boiled eggs on top and cover them with the other half. Bake at 360°F (180°C), until it's ready (about 30-40 minutes).
While the savory cake is baking, prepare the sauce.
The dried mushrooms are pre-soaked in water to hydrate. You can also toast the flour in advance. Add the butter in a moderately heated pan.
Add the flour, while stirring constantly. Add the mushrooms along with the water in which they are soaked. Dilute with beer, then add the broth. Season with salt and black pepper and leave it on the stove, until it thickens and a smooth and fragrant sauce is obtained.
If necessary, thicken it with more flour.
Serve the pieces of cake, garnished with sauce and fresh green salad.
