Ingredients

  • beef minced meat - 1.5 lb (700 g)
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • tomatoes - 1.5 lb (700 g) (bottle)
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp.
  • dried oregano - 1/2 tsp.
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp.
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp.
  • basil leaves
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1 tsp.
  • parmesan - 3.5 oz (100 g) grated
  • mozzarella - 7 oz (200 g) grated
  • rigatoni - 1.1 lb (500 g)

How to make

The rigatoni are boiled according to the instructions on the package.

Heat olive oil in a pan, add the minced meat, until it crumbles. Add the crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, spices and tomatoes. Leave everything to simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with half of the parmesan. Mix everything. Arrange the boiled rigatoni facing each other throughout the tray.

Pour the minced meat mixture and tomato sauce over them carefully, without falling out of the baking pan. Sprinkle with parmesan.

Bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes. Remove them from the oven, sprinkle with grated mozzarella and bake for another 15 minutes.
