How to make
Oven - 350°F (175°C)
Cake tin - 10″ (26 cm), greased and covered with baking paper.
I used organic oranges.
The orange is washed under running water very well. It is not peeled, but cut into pieces along with the crust and placed in a blender to blend into a puree.
Add the flour, eggs, sugar, milk, olive oil and finally add the baking powder. The products are blended in several pulsations, until everything turns into a homogeneous mixture.
The mixture is poured into the mold and it is leveled out.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 40-45 minutes.
Remove the sponge cake from the oven, leave it to cool for about 15 minutes and then place it on a wire rack.
Sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
The fluffy orange bread is ready.
This is a very easy and quick recipe and you mostly will need to work with a food processor, which greatly simplifies the work process.
Of course, it is possible in the absence of a food processor to blend the orange in a blender, pour it into a bowl and add the remaining products. Then beat them with a mixer, until the products are mixed.
It is quite reasonable to ask if there is any bitter taste a whole orange with its peel and I can assure everyone, that there is no bad and bitter taste, on the contrary, there is a wonderful aftertaste of aromatic orange after each bite.
