How to make
Cook the pasta in salted water and strain.
Chop the garlic, onion and carrot finely and saute in hot olive oil. Once softened, add the mince and stir, until it turns light beuge.
Add the shredded tomatoes and season with black pepper, basil, oregano and salt.
Prepare the bechamel sauce separately. Melt the butter in a saucer and cook the flour in it. Pour in the milk, and season with nutmeg and salt.Simmer while stirring to a smooth consistency.
Place half the pasta in a baking tray. Pour the tomato and mince sauce ot top, and add the remaining pasta.
Finally spread the bechamel and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Preheat the oven to 370°F (190°C). Bake for at least 35 minutes to achieve a golden brown crust on top.
