How to make
Clean and wash the porcini mushrooms. Boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes. Remove them with a slotted spoon and allow them to drain in a colander.
Cut the larger ones and leave the smaller ones whole. Arrange them in jars, at the bottom of which you can put a few grains of pepper, allspice and a piece of bay leaf.
Mix the salt, vinegar and oil and distribute equal parts of the mixture in the jars. Add the mushroom decoction and close the jars.
Sterilize the jars for 1 hour. Allow them to cool in the water and store them in a cool place. The prepared sterilized porcini mushrooms have a long shelf life.
