  • semolina - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • sugar - 7 oz (200 g)
  • coconut - 7 oz (200 g)
  • oil - 6.8 fl oz (200 ml)
  • milk - 6.8 fl oz (200 ml)
  • vanilla sugar
  • dry yeast - 0.7 oz (20 g)
  • yogurt - 5 fl oz (150 ml)
  • sugar syrup
  • sugar - 7 oz (200 g)
  • water - 5 fl oz (150 ml)

How to make

For the syrup, pour the sugar, water and a slice of lemon into a small saucepan.

Put it on the stove, until the sugar has melted - about 10 minutes on low heat.

For the main part of our syrupy cake, pour the semolina, coconut, sugar, oil, milk, yogurt, yeast and vanilla sugar into a deep bowl.

Stir well, until everything is mixed.

Pour the mixture into a baking pan and bake at 360°F (180°C) for 20 to 30 minutes.

Remove it from the oven and pour the syrup over it. Decorate it with coconut shavings.
