"Fillet, processed cheese and potatoes - quite ordinary, but so delicious"

Ingredients

  • chicken fillet - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • potatoes - 1.5 lb (700 g)
  • processed cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oil - for greasing
measures

How to make

Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them like fries and wash them again. Grease a baking pan with oil, pour them into it and season them with salt.

Clean the chicken fillet and pound it lightly with a meat hammer. Season it with salt and the spices you like. I used only black pepper.

Cut the yellow cheese into strips and the processed cheese into not very thick circles. Arrange them in the middle of the chicken steaks and roll them up into a roll.

Tie the rolls with thread or fasten them with toothpicks. Arrange them in the baking pan on top of the potatoes.

Pour enough water to cover the potatoes. Bake them in a preheated oven. Turn the chicken rolls over, in order to aquire a crust on both sides, but this is optional. Bake them for about an hour.
