How to make
The tea cup has a volume of 10 fl oz (300 ml).
Peel the beetroot and green sour apples and cut them into cubes. Along with 1/2 cup of water, blend them in a nutri bullet (or a powerful blender).
Transfer the red puree into a deep bowl, convenient for mixing. Add the brown crystal sugar, hemp flour (optional), chia seeds, baking soda, vanilla and unrefined sunflower oil to it.
Finally, thicken with oatmeal, corn flour and wholemeal flour, by stirring constantly with a wire whisk, so that the mixture absorbs them evenly.
Scoop from the wet dough with a teaspoon and form small balls, which you can then arrange at a distance in a tray lined with baking paper.
Carefully flatten each of the homemade biscuits, so that you get a round and evenly flat biscuit.
Sprinkle them with a little sesame seeds and press them down lightly again, just enough for the seeds to stick to them.
Bake them at 390°F (200°C), until they're fully baked. Depending on how long you bake them, they can be soft, but if you bake them lightly, they can be pleasantly crunchy.
