How to make
In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, baking powder and flour.
Add the butter in pieces and rub with your fingers, until the flour is moistened and crumbs are obtained.
Beat the egg and knead a smooth and soft dough. If it is dry, add a little water or milk.
Form the dough into a ball and wrap it in cling film. Refrigerate it for 15-20 minutes to harden.
When it has hardened (not too hard), roll it out into a 0.2″ (0.5 cm) thick crust and cut out the heart shapes.
Arrange them in two or more trays lined with baking paper.
Bake the sweet hearts in an oven preheated to 360°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes for each tray.
Once they have cooled, stick them together two by two with a thick homemade jam, which you have chosen.
To make the stuck together heart sweets more beautiful and to add flavor, drizzle them with dark chocolate, which has been melted with milk and butter.
