How to make
Wash the chicken drumsticks and cover them with plenty of water. Put them to boil over medium heat with a pinch or two of salt and a spoonful of olive oil (optional).
Finely chop the leeks and peel and chop the mushrooms. I used a mixture of fresh brown and white field mushrooms.
Heat the butter and oil over a moderate heat and fry the leeks, then add the mushrooms and increase the heat. After 3 minutes, add the rice and fry it well, by adding spices and salt to the rice with mushrooms.
During this time, preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).
Distribute the mixture of rice, leeks and mushrooms in a baking pan, pour the broth from cooking the chicken over them (liquid / rice according to the instructions on the package, if necessary add water). Arrange the chicken drumsticks on top.
Bake the appetizing chicken with rice, until the rice absorbs the liquid - about 25-30 minutes.
